pidgin-nateon software package provides Pidgin plugin for NateOn instant messaging service, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pidgin-nateon
pidgin-nateon is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pidgin-nateon package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pidgin-nateon *
You will get with pidgin-nateon package name, version, architecture and description in a table
